The Core Feature
The Great Hall of Spins
Three or more Scatter symbols opens the Great Hall — Thunderstruck II’s multi-god bonus system. Each visit unlocks progressively more powerful free spin features. The final tier, Odin, requires 15 visits.
Valkyrie
Tier 1 — Always Available
⚔
A 5× multiplier on any win during the bonus round. Retriggerable — additional Scatters in the feature award extra spins.
Loki
Tier 2 — From 5th visit
🐍
Wild Reels feature — at random, Loki transforms entire reels into Wilds, dramatically expanding win potential across all 243 ways.
Thor
Tier 3 — From 10th visit
🔨
20 + 6×
Spins + Rolling Multiplier
A 6× Rolling Reels multiplier — consecutive wins on a single spin build the multiplier up to 6×. This is where Thunderstruck II’s biggest base wins occur.
Odin
Tier 4 — From 15th visit
🦅
25 + Wild Raven
Spins · 2× or 3× on non-winning
Odin’s Ravens Huginn and Muninn randomly transform losing symbols into Wilds or 2× / 3× multiplier symbols. Thunderstruck II’s ultimate feature — and the origin of its 2,400× max win.

Strategy & Tips
Target Odin — every time
The endgame for any Thunderstruck II session is the Odin tier. Each bonus trigger advances your visit count, so consistent play unlocks the 25-spin Wild Raven feature far faster than sporadic sessions.
Bet NZD $1.50 to balance RTP and spin volume
At NZD $1.50 per spin with 96.65% RTP, a NZD $150 bankroll gives approximately 200 spins — statistically enough to trigger the Great Hall of Spins 2–4 times. This is the sweet spot for most NZ players.
Thor’s 6× Rolling Reels is the session maker
The Thor bonus (10th visit) offers a 6× multiplier that stacks through consecutive wins. A chain of 4+ wins during this feature can return 50–100× your stake on that spin alone.
Medium volatility rewards patience
Frequent small wins keep your balance afloat between bonus triggers. Chasing losses by raising your bet mid-session contradicts this game’s natural rhythm.

Thunderstruck II — FAQ
What is the RTP of Thunderstruck II? +
Thunderstruck II has a certified RTP of 96.65%, independently verified by eCOGRA. This means for every NZD $100 wagered over a long statistical run, NZD $96.65 is returned to players. At Luxury Casino NZ, the RTP is set to the full 96.65% — not a lower operator-adjusted version.
How do I unlock the Odin Great Hall of Spins? +
Odin becomes available from your 15th visit to the Great Hall of Spins (triggered by landing 3+ Scatter symbols). Each Great Hall trigger — regardless of which god it lands on — counts as one visit. Your visit counter is saved to your casino account, so it persists across sessions.
Can I play Thunderstruck II on mobile in New Zealand? +
Yes — Thunderstruck II is fully HTML5-optimised for iPhone (Safari) and Android (Chrome). The game loads in your mobile browser with no app download required. All features — base game, Great Hall of Spins, and all four god tiers — are available on mobile.
What is the maximum win on Thunderstruck II? +
The maximum single-spin win is 2,400× your stake. At NZD $15 per spin (maximum bet), this equals NZD $36,000 from a single spin. This outcome requires a full 5-of-a-kind Thor Wild line during the Odin bonus with Wild Raven multipliers active.
Does the welcome bonus apply when playing Thunderstruck II? +
Yes — Thunderstruck II contributes 100% toward welcome bonus wagering requirements at Luxury Casino NZ. Maximum bet while bonus is active: NZD $10 per spin (stay at NZD $1.50 for comfort). Bonus wagering: 30× the bonus amount.
Is Thunderstruck II different from the original Thunderstruck? +
Significantly. The original Thunderstruck (2004) had 9 paylines and a single free spins bonus. Thunderstruck II (2010) expanded to 243 ways to win and introduced the Great Hall of Spins — a progressive multi-tier bonus system with four distinct gods. The sequel is widely considered the superior game.
How long does it typically take to reach the Odin tier? +
The Great Hall of Spins triggers on average roughly once every 75–100 spins. Reaching Odin (15 visits) requires approximately 1,100–1,500 spins on average. At NZD $1.50 per spin, total bets in that range are NZD $1,650–$2,250, though your running balance at 96.65% RTP means the net cost is significantly lower.
